{"id":12450,"date":"2018-09-25T13:56:52","date_gmt":"2018-09-25T11:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mykonosports.gr\/?p=12450"},"modified":"2018-09-25T20:00:27","modified_gmt":"2018-09-25T18:00:27","slug":"safety-instructions-in-extreme-weather-conditions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mykonosports.gr\/en\/safety-instructions-in-extreme-weather-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS IN EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>HIGH SPEED WINDS<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Before and during high speed winds<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Secure your boats in order not to cause an accident to adjacent boats<\/li>\n<li>Check your anchors, cords and ropes on your pickets<\/li>\n<li>Place buffers on the sides of your boats to prevent damage from possible impacts<\/li>\n<li>Secure objects that can fall from the wind and may cause damage or injury<\/li>\n<li>Secure the posted signs that you have posted.<\/li>\n<li>Lock the doors and windows of your boat or workspace.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid activities in sea and coastal areas.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid passing under large trees, under hanging signs and generally from areas where light objects (eg pots, broken glass, etc.) may move and fall into the ground (eg under balconies) .<\/li>\n<li>Do not work outdoors during high winds.<\/li>\n<li>Those who have pergolas in their shops, check the piles of joints and woods.<\/li>\n<li>Please secure umbrellas or awnings and store them in a safe place to avoid accidents<\/li>\n<li>Do not walk to the edge of the harbor.<\/li>\n<li>Do not walk on the coastal road of old &#8211; new harbor, on the wall, because there is a risk of falling from a large height and a fatal accident.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>DURING A HEAVY RAIN<\/h2>\n<p><strong>If you are on board or in a building<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Secure items that may be swept by wind or heavy rain and may cause damages or injuries.<\/li>\n<li>Check the stability\u00a0of the advertising signs that you have posted.<\/li>\n<li>Lock the doors and windows.<\/li>\n<li>Do not\u00a0use electrical appliances or the phone\u00a0 due to possibility of a lighting .
